Editorial Guidelines

Tennis Nashville's website has well over 1,200 tennis-playing visitors per month on average and is trending upwards, so is a great medium for getting word out about your organization or related news story. We are especially interested in stories about area tennis players (including from high schools and colleges) and about events. Please review our guidelines before submitting a release.

Editorial Guidelines for Releases

1) Your release or article should directly involve either playing, discussing or watching tennis, or else be specifically planned to build the tennis community. No non-tennis related events will be posted.

2) The article should be relevant to tennis players in Tennessee or the immediate surrounding area.

3) It should be newsworthy, rather than a commercial advertisment (if interested in placing an ad, please contact us directly).

4) Allow for 3 to 5 days to elapse between submitting the release and publishing on the website.

5) Please provide the following information:

  • Who
  • What
  • When
  • Where
  • Photo(s)

5) Administrative contact name and phone number or email address for the person submitting the release in case we have questions

6) Releases and articles submitted are not guaranteed placement and Tennis Nashville reserves the exclusive right to decide on suitability.

Please email your release and photo(s) to events@tennisnashville.net
